Site Preparation & Grading
What is Site Preparation?
Grading is the process of making a base level for a specific project such as roadways, parking lots or driveways. This may include importing and installing aggregate base material.
Without a firm foundation of grading, compaction and drainage, no paving project will last. This is an essential step in the process.
In this rapidly changing industry, we’ve realized the importance of continually updating our approach to stay relevant in the market, and we are committed to do just that.
Initial Steps
The next stage is to remove any unwanted trees, brush, or other construction-related obstacles.
This process may also include tearing down structures above and below ground to make way for construction.
After site preparation
Water is diverted away from the site by drainage and land grading, eliminating potential flooding and foundation issues.
Afterward, the ground is compacted.
By being compacted, the dirt can support the upcoming structure.
Throughout this process, crews must perfectly compact the dirt because it is essential for security.
