Drainage

What is Drainage?

Removing and keeping water away from asphalt is essential to maintaining the longevity of every asphalt installation. Along with constructing the asphalt in a manner that will shed water, constructing drainage ditches and installing culverts may be required to ensure water drains off and away from your asphalt. Addressing erosion with treatments like riprap or curbing protects the paving matric from damage. Parking lots may require catch basins or underground storm drain to assist in removing water. Proper drainage protects asphalt from deterioration and erosion.

In this rapidly changing industry, we’ve realized the importance of continually updating our approach to stay relevant in the market, and we are committed to do just that.

Grading is frequently used in building projects, including:

  • Foundations
  • base path for a railroad or a road
  • Stormwater/surface drainage systems

Water is diverted away from the site by drainage and land grading, eliminating potential flooding and foundation issues.
